Peer Counselor Training Coming Up! Register for training that begins August 16th

Age Wise Age Well is seeking compassionate volunteers to provide PEER COUNSELING to older adults that are
experiencing issues related to aging such as grief, loss, anxiety, isolation, adjusting to new illness, and many others. No
experience needed, volunteer counselors are trained to meet with clients one on one and provide emotional support
and guidance to seniors referred to the program. This opportunity is only for volunteers 55 and older.

Calling all Super Heroes to assemble Kid Time At-Home Kits

Kid Time Children’s Museum is creating about 4500 kits and there is plenty of assembling to do here, at Kid Time,
and from the comfort of your own home. We will be cutting string, pouring paint, filling bags, and laminating

Fire District 3 covering Gold Hill, Sams Valley, Eagle Point, White City and Central Point is looking for volunteers to help
with many different tasks, including: greeting and hospitality, data entry, buiding maps, instructing CPR classes, installing
smoke alarms, staffing information booths, deliveries to fire stations, driving food and water to firefighters, and more!

SHIBA (Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance) is seeking volunteer MEDICARE COUNSELORS to help seniors
navigate the ins and outs of Medicare. No experience needed, volunteers receive extensive training and meet one on
one with clients to provide unbiased support for all things Medicare related. This opportunity is only for volunteers 55
and older.
